Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by one of our experienced guides/drivers who will escort you to Arusha where you can relax at your hotel. Your guide will offer you a warm welcome and provide an introduction to this wonderful city and country.

After the long flight, you will be pleased to know that Arusha, known as the undisputed safari capital of East Africa, is located 1400 metres above sea level, keeping temperatures and humidity relatively low. Surrounding this vibrant city are some of Tanzania’s most outstanding treasures. Mount Meru looms large behind Arusha, and on a clear day, you can even see the majestic Kilimanjaro.

Arusha is the ideal base for safari lovers, offering easy access to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. As a busy agricultural area, administrative and tourist centre, Arusha is also the perfect place to relax after a long journey and before setting off on a safari, the adventure of a lifetime.

Accommodation: B&B (Bed & Breakfast).

DAY 2: ARUSHA - P.N. SERENGETI

After breakfast, we will begin our journey northeast towards the iconic Serengeti National Park, known as the park that fascinates the world. Along the way, the vastness of the land and the natural beauty of the landscapes will be revealed to us. Your driver-guide will help you identify the various animals and birds that appear along the way. This will be just a taste of what awaits us, as the Serengeti is home to what is possibly the largest concentration of wildlife in the world.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will have the opportunity to explore the vast “endless plains” of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this stunning setting, you will encounter elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos and crocodiles, among many other animals. The adventure will have begun in earnest.

In the late afternoon, after a day full of excitement and wildlife encounters, we will return to the lodge for dinner and to share the fantastic experiences of the day.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 3: P.N. SERENGETI

Waking up in the Serengeti is something truly special. We will be surrounded by the sounds, sights and smells of Africa, with an exciting day full of adventure ahead in the world’s most famous national park.

After breakfast, we will continue our game drive in the central area of the park known as Seronera. This area is named after the Seronera River and is one of the most densely populated areas of the park in Africa. The landscape is dotted with rock formations called Kopjes, where lions or leopards can often be spotted resting. The open savannah south of the river is an excellent place to spot cheetahs. We will marvel at the stunning scenery, the changing light and the ever-active wildlife.

As the day progresses, the wonders of the Serengeti will subtly unfold before us. The animals and birds are the ‘stars of the show’, and nature’s dramas can unfold at any moment. Since the animals do not follow a fixed schedule, we could see lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs and antelopes at any time of the day.

In the late afternoon, we will return to the comfort of the lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Optional: early morning balloon safari.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Please note: If you have booked the balloon safari for today, you will be picked up at 05:00 for a 06:00 departure. After 90 minutes of unforgettable aerial adventure, you will enjoy a breakfast on the savannah accompanied by champagne. Afterwards, your driver will collect you for the full-day safari.

DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER

The exciting sounds of Africa will wake you up at dawn. We will continue our safari towards the park exit to continue the adventure towards the famous Ngorongoro Crater, another of the great natural icons of Africa.

We will descend into the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world, a natural sanctuary that houses some of the densest animal populations in Africa. This is one of the few places where it is possible to observe the rare black rhino in its natural environment. Because very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, whose walls are about 600 meters high, it is common to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and many birds. In this incomparable environment, it is one of the best places to see the “Big Five”, including the black rhino.

We will have a picnic lunch on the shores of Lake Magadi, where hippos, flamingos and various birds of prey can be observed.

The Masai tribe has the privilege of sharing this impressive space with animals, grazing their cattle in this conservation area, which has been independent since 1956 and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978. This harmonious coexistence between humans and fauna is what makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania.

In the evening, we will head to the accommodation after an exciting safari inside the crater.

Optional: Visit to Olduvai Gorge or a Masai tribe.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 5: KARATU – MTO WA MBU - AIRPORT

In the morning, you will have the opportunity to get to know the colorful village of Mto Wa Mbu, exploring its vibrant local market. You can choose from several activities: take a bike tour near Manyara National Park, take a tuk-tuk ride, or simply relax by the pool.

In the afternoon, you will either return to Arusha or be transferred to the airport for your next flight.
