DAY 1: ARUSHA - P.N. TARANGIRE

Today we leave early, picking you up at your hotel in Arusha and heading south to the stunning Tarangire National Park. This park is considered one of the must-sees for a dream safari, as it is home to the largest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, with a diverse mix of predators.

We will arrive before lunch and begin our safari to discover the wonders of Tarangire, known as the “garden of the baobabs”, a typically African tree whose legend says that the gods turned it upside down as punishment for human pride. Sometimes it is possible to observe herds of up to 300 elephants, as well as buffalo, lions, wildebeest, zebras, leopards, impalas, gazelles, among others.

At the end of the afternoon, inspired by the wildlife, we will retire to the lodge to enjoy dinner and rest a little.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 2: P.N. TARANGIRE - P.N. SERENGETI

After breakfast, we leave Tarangire National Park behind and head northeast towards the iconic Serengeti National Park. Along the way, the vastness of the land and the natural beauty of the landscapes will be revealed to you, as your driver-guide will help you identify the animals and birds that appear along the way. This will be just a taste of what is to come, as the Serengeti is home to arguably the largest concentration of wildlife in the world.

After enjoying a picnic lunch, you will begin the exciting search for some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vast ‘endless plains’ of the Serengeti are home to elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos and crocodiles. The real adventure will have begun.

In the late afternoon, exhausted but elated by the incredible experiences you have had, it will be time to head to the lodge for dinner and share the many fantastic experiences of the day.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 3: P.N. SERENGETI - NGORONGORO CRATER

Waking up in the Serengeti is a truly special experience. We will be surrounded by the unique sounds, sights and scents of Africa, as we prepare for a day full of adventure in the world’s most famous national park.

After breakfast, we will continue our game drive in the central area of the park known as Seronera, named after the Seronera River. This area is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of big cats in Africa. The landscape is dotted with rocks, known as “Kopjes”, where lions or leopards can often be spotted. The open savannah south of the river is ideal for spotting cheetahs. We will marvel at the stunning landscapes, the changing light and the ever-active wildlife.

As the day progresses, the wonders of the Serengeti will evolve in subtle ways. The animals and birds are the real “stars of the show”, and nature’s dramas can unfold at any moment. The animals do not have a fixed schedule, so at any time we could see lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs and antelopes.

After lunch, we will head to the Ngorongoro Crater. During the trip, there will be the option to visit a Masai village to learn about their culture and traditions.

Optional: Visit to the Masai tribe.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

Early in the morning, you will descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, a natural sanctuary that is home to some of the densest animal populations in Africa. This is one of the few places where you can observe the rare black rhino in its natural environment. Because very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, whose walls are over 600 metres high, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and many birds, among other species. This is an incomparable location and one of the most likely sites to spot the “Big Five”, including the black rhino.

You will have a picnic lunch on the shores of Lake Magadi, while watching hippos, flamingos and various birds of prey. The Masai tribe has the privilege of sharing this impressive space with animals, grazing their cattle in an independent conservation area since 1956 and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1978. This harmonious coexistence between humans and fauna is what makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania.

In the afternoon, you will return to Arusha after enjoying an exciting safari inside the crater.

Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.
