Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (Tanzania) or Nairobi, you will be met by our team and transferred comfortably to your hotel in Moshi. Sit back and relax, enjoying the tranquility of this picturesque village at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After a delicious breakfast, we will head to Marangu Gate (1829 m), where we will check in and begin our ascent to Mandara Hut (2700 m), located near the Maundi Crater. During the trek, you will pass through a lush semi-tropical forest, home to a variety of fauna and flora, which will make the climb even more memorable. Upon arrival at the hut, you can enjoy a well-deserved dinner before resting for the next day.

After an energetic breakfast, we will continue our ascent to Horombo Hut (3760 m), leaving the tropical forest behind and entering the Afro-alpine zone. As we ascend, the landscape changes, offering us breathtaking views of the peaks Mawenzi and Kibo, which rise majestically on the horizon. This day will be ideal to begin acclimatising to the heights, while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings.

After an early breakfast, we will begin the climb to Kibo Hut (4700 m), located between the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. As we ascend, the landscape becomes more arid and spectacular, with unique rock formations and almost lunar vegetation, dotted with giant cacti and lobelias. The air becomes cooler and the feeling of approaching the roof of Africa will be an incomparable experience.

The day begins at 1am when we rise to undertake the final part of the climb. Via Hans Meyer Cave we will proceed towards Gillman’s Point (5780m) on the edge of the crater, a breathtaking landmark. For those who wish to continue towards the summit, the climb to Uhuru Peak (5895m) will take about two more hours, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings and the top of Africa. After photos and moments of awe, we will begin the descent towards Horombo Hut to rest.

After a well-deserved breakfast, we will descend back to Marangu Gate, where we will be collected by the vehicle for the return trip to Moshi. Relax and enjoy the satisfaction of having reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, an achievement that will remain etched in your memory forever. Overnight at hotel in Moshi.
